en*light*en. verb. 1. To bring knowledge or understanding. 2. To bring spiritual illumination.

This weekend's en*LIGHT*en edition is brought to you from the private porch swing of our AirBnB in New Orleans. How is it that when you go on a no kid vacation, you find yourself acting like a kid again? I love it. We needed this. Uninterrupted conversations, no time schedules, all of the foods, all of the drinks, all of the sleeps. New Orleans you are good to us.

While we are relationshipping,  here are some great links on the theme.

I love game nights but I always complain there are never enough 2 person games. This looks like great additions. I see a bourbon and game night date-night-in in our future.

Speaking of date nights, this is a brilliant way of doing date nights. Cheap, comfortable, and avoids the dreaded evening task of bedtime management. Also allows more likely access to Happy Hour deals.

These Valentine poems will have you LOLing.

These essay is about IKEA and being bad a$$ as parents is everything. I ❤️ IKEA.

There is beauty in the mundane of relationships as seen in comic form.

Happy weekend, and excuse me while I go drink a Bloody Mary on the street.
